CANNABIS CONTROVERSY CAN BE RESOLVED
In response to "The case for legalization" (Dialog, Nov. 6): Now that
the California Medical Association has approved marijuana for medical
use, it is time for qualified clinicians to do a controlled study on
the efficacy of marijuana under a variety of medical conditions. Then
and only then will we know whether marijuana is effective for medical
use, and the controversy can be resolved.
