NOT THE CLUBS, THE BANKS
It's upsetting to see the corporate banksters, who orchestrated a
massive Ponzi scheme that resulted in the heist of our public wealth
and assets, walking free.
It's even more upsetting to watch the federal prosecutors, entrusted
with the protection of our public interest, persecute a grass-roots
medical-marijuana movement that has brought jobs and money into our
communities in the midst of a brutal recession.
The real criminals sit laughing in their banks, comfortable in the
knowledge of their impunity from prosecution. They know that these
federal buffoons will continue to attack the poor and middle class as
long as the banks and corporations continue to control Washington.
We, the people, have become slaves in the land of Egypt.
