MARIJUANA IS OUT OF CONTROL

Re "Pot-grower limits sought" (Our Region, Oct. 3): Medicinal
marijuana has been a major controversy since the passage of
Proposition 215. Although California has tried to regulate, it has not
been enough.

Elk Grove is attempting to keep control of this problem because people
are growing this drug in their backyards and disturbing neighbors with
the smell and location of the marijuana plants. This business needs to
be properly regulated for the safety and comfort of California citizens.
