THE BABY SAVED MAY BE YOUR OWN
What's wrong with this picture? An entire editorial page of letters
denouncing a police sting when students in high school provided drugs
to an undercover agent and were arrested for their illegal actions.
Hello! We are talking about drugs in school. Would it have been OK to
arrest them if they gave those drugs to a depressed freshman? If
she/he died or became addicted to those drugs, should the providers be
responsible?
As a parent, I was thrilled that they took some teens providing drugs
out of the school. If these teens were going to classes and
socializing without drugs, we would not be discussing the results.
It's not a matter of undercover agents trapping your babies. It's a
matter of drugs in the school destroying the lives of someone else's
baby.
