THINK OF OTHERS IF POT GOES TO POLLS AGAIN

I am the face of cancer; I have been fighting this battle for the
last two years.

In that time, I have had seven surgeries, and I'm now undergoing six
rounds of chemotherapy. I have been prescribed numerous costly pain
and nausea medications. Many of those drugs have very unpleasant side effects.

In my journey for relief, I made the conscious decision to try
medical marijuana. I contacted a caregiver and applied for a legal
license, which I was granted due to my cancer diagnosis.

I soon found myself under the care of very knowable and kind
caregivers at Medical Gardens and the MMD store. The treatment has
helped me regain my strength and has helped me to not rely as much on
the pain and nausea medications.

But now, due to the egos of some and the greed of others (e.g.
doctors), I might be forced the hardship of traveling to distant
dispensaries. I do not know why the people of Fort Collins need to
pay for a new ballet issue to vote on something we already have voted
for and passed. Please think of the people like myself and others
when and if we have to go to the polls again.
