THE TIME HAS COME

Thanks for the coverage of the debacle that is being created by
failure to act on medical-marijuana reform. It is obvious that the
will of the people is being ignored again.

As the population ages, we will need dispensaries, growers and laws
that provide for and protect those who need pain medication. It is
less toxic and less expensive than other pain medications and the time
has come to legalize it. In fact, it is overdue.

That the federal government can subvert state law and prosecute
medical-marijuana providers is indefensible. Please sign the petition,
Initiative 1149, wherever you can find it. It is important.
