MARIJUANA PROGRAM BEING ABUSED BY CHILDREN

This medical marijuana issue has really harmed this state. It gets
into the hands of children. It was a problem before this program
started and now it's worse.

When kids start smoking pot, their grades drop, some start skipping
school and some drop out of school when they're at age. It's sad to
see their lives destroyed over this.

Anytime there's a program like this, there are people who abuse the
system.

I feel bad for the people who actually need this, because there are
people who it actually helps. It doesn't matter if I agree with it or
if anybody else agrees with it.

My problem is nobody is talking about the doctors who are handing
medical cards out like candy. I believe they have standards to follow
and I know people who have cards and there isn't anything wrong with
them. I don't know what lies there telling these doctors, but the
doctors should be smarter that that.

I know a person who just finished the prison boot camp program which
is a very physical program and he completed it and is in no pain, but
yet he has a card. I don't understand this.

I know another person who was selling pot illegally and was sent to
prison for it. He is a young man who is addicted to pot. He's only
about 25 or 26 years old and in good health and I hear he's getting
out of prison, and he has a card or is getting one. This to me is crazy.

I believe these doctors are just keeping these people in their
addictions. There are many other people who have these cards who just
don't medically need it. I say police the doctors and we won't have
such a big problem and the people who really need this will have it.
