POT DISPENSARIES

Editor: I am shocked at what I read in the April 14 issue of the
Argus-Courier. I am reading that the City Council is considering
rescinding the ban on medical marijuana dispensaries. This is because
of the budget crisis.

The article states, "The city's budget crisis requires that every
revenue option be on the table." I realize that the city needs
revenue, but by the taxes collected by selling marijuana?

I really think this city government should rethink itself and maybe
allow stores that sell legitimate things that the everyday person and
family needs. So where are Target and Lowe's? They are sitting on the
back burner and now the city wants to make pot legal.

Am I missing something here?
