LEGALIZE POT TO CURB ABUSES

Isn't this a democracy? Wasn't medical marijuana passed by a majority
vote of the citizens? I guess we can go back to jailing these
offenders. That would only cost about $1 billion, not to mention lost
sales of junk food. I think our Legislature needs some remedial math.

Making it illegal again would also be a big boost for Canadian and
Mexican growers and smugglers. The drug wars in Mexico are killing
about as many people per year as Vietnam. The Middle East wars don't
even come close. The only way to end this is to let anyone who wants
to smoke pot grow a small amount. The price would drop to near nothing
and the drug lords would have to get jobs.

When drugs were legalized in Holland, use in the schools dropped in
half - something to do with forbidden fruit, I suppose. There are a
few people abusing our gun laws too. You don't suppose ... nah....
