ALLOW BIBLICAL CANNABIS FOR SICK CITIZENS
It's time for credible drug law reform ("Smokin'," Feb. 24) and that
includes decriminalizing small amounts of marijuana.
Another reason to allow sick citizens to use cannabis is that it's
Biblically correct. God indicates that He created all the seed-bearing
plants, saying they are all good, on literally the very first page
(see Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30). The only Biblical mandate placed on
the use of cannabis is to accept it with thankfulness (1 Timothy
4:1-5). "But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in
need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide
in him?" (1 John 3:17).
Christ Jesus risked jail to heal the sick.
