LET'S DEAL NOW WITH THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM:
METH LABS EVERYWHERE

Kudos to the Legislature for taking on new meth laws ("State House
rejects drug measure," April 20). My request is that they remove
marijuana from House Bill 149. Last year, we were forced to sell our
beautiful family home due to what we termed a "triangle of meth labs"
in rented trailers that, over a few years, had sprouted up in the
woods all around us. We were in a living hell as the hard-working
troopers vowed to do what they could with the limited resources they
had. The meth problem is huge. We've no time to waste. Please stop
creating new problems, fix the big ones we already have.

Tracking down people in their own homes for marijuana takes everything
away from the elephant sitting in our already drug-infested living
room.
