ALCOHOL SALES OK, BUT NOT MEDICAL MARIJUANA?

BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP -- I'd like to comment on the law making alcohol on
Sunday and holidays legal to buy. Sure, go out and buy your spirit of
choice anytime you want. That's just fine and dandy. That can pass
House and Senate in the blink of an eye.

But when it comes to the passage of medical marijuana for people that
want that type of treatment and/or medicine, it's like pulling teeth
from an angry lion. Before people come crashing down on others like a
ton of bricks, I would urge you to go to your local library and check
out a book called "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by Jack Herer.

They say knowledge is power. Well, before judging others, should you
not be informed first? All I can say is this subject needs more
attention to facts, not the fearful images that have been handed down
from the past.
