JUDGE RESERVES DECISION ON PRIVATE PROSECUTION
Nelson -- A judge has reserved his decision on a local man's attempts
to keep the federal Attorney-General out of a private prosecution of
British Columbia's so-called Prince of Pot.
Private citizen Patrick Roberts has accused Marc Emery and two others
of conspiracy to distribute marijuana seeds, conspiracy to distribute
marijuana and conspiracy to engage in money laundering.
If he is charged here it is unlikely he would be extradited to face
similar charges in the U.S.
The Attorney-General of Canada has petitioned the court to stop the
private prosecution.
