LANSING POLICE INVESTIGATE MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY ROBBERY
LANSING - Employees at a medical marijuana dispensary reported they
were tied up and robbed by two gun-wielding masked men.
Police are investigating the incident that took place around 9:30
p.m. Thursday at HydroWorld, 4719 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.,
said Lansing police Lt. Noel Garcia.
He said the men took an undisclosed amount of marijuana and cash
before driving off. Garcia did not know how many employees were in
the store at the time.
An employee was able to break free and got a description of the
get-away vehicle and its license plate, he said.
One suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s, about 5
feet 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray
sweatshirt, jeans and a white plastic mask. The other suspect is
described as a white male in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall, and
wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with a plastic see-through clown mask.
Police are not releasing how the employees were tied up or the
license plate of the suspected vehicle. The incident remains under
investigation.
