KNOCKING DOWN POLICE IGNORES THE TRUTH

I agree with most everything that Mr. Barth had to say about marijuana
in his letter except the police being to blame.
The police will do anything their superiors order them to
do.
The superiors are told what to do by the politicians that enact the
law. The politicians react to religious and other pressure groups.
The marijuana laws were adapted from U.S. policy in the
1930s.
I don't believe it was ever debated in this country.
Since liquor is legal so marijuana should be. It is relatively
harmless.
