MEDICAL MARIJUANA, PRO AND CON
To the Editor:
It is no surprise that the Food and Drug Administration dismissed the
medical value of cannabis. Plants cannot be patented.
An agency with such close ties to the pharmaceutical industry has no
incentive to recognize the medical value of a plant that people could
grow themselves free of charge.
