DRUG ABUSE: WHAT CAN WE DO?

Re: Spiralling drug abuse snuffs out a young life, by Brian Cross, Jan. 31.

After reading the story of Courtney Kalyn, I felt compelled to let the
City of Windsor know what a caring family the Kalyns are and what
wonderful parents Will and Kim are.

They have opened their hearts and their pain so that other people will
understand the severity and hopelessness of drugs.

If you think it could never happen in your family, think again.
Someone in my family has lost her job, her house, her children, and
her family to this drug.

The sparkle in her eyes is gone and I know that someday too, we will
be getting the dreaded phone call that crack has taken another victim.

We are all at a loss of what to do.

We all know there's a problem, what is with the solution?
