REPEALING MEDICAL MARIJUANA LAW APPALLING TO VOTERS

Let's see, what else can we take away, that the people of Montana
voted in?

How about the 10 people in the panel who voted to repeal the medical
marijuana laws that the people of Montana voted in?

Is this a civil violation of human rights in Montana or
what?

I thought we went by, "We the People?" Not, "We the
Legislature."

It isn't the marijuana issue I am talking about; it's the state
government deciding what is best for the people of Montana.

If the people who voted it in didn't think it was good for the state
and patients involved, they wouldn't have voted it in.

This is only the beginning folks, you'd better wake
up.

If there was credible evidence that since the people voted in the law,
the crime went up, involving marijuana, then maybe it would have to be
changed but if you look at statistics, the crime rate involving
marijuana has gone down.

Let's take away something that works, that will appease the public. I
bet there are some happy drug dealers around about right now, their
business is about to go way up again.

Believe me, the 30,000 plus people who depend on medical marijuana to
live a normal life, are not going to stop using something that works.

I am sure we all realize that there needs to be some better
structuring, when it comes to getting marijuana, but total repeal is
just not the answer.

Now all you people who can't control your children's marijuana use,
will find them going down dark alleys to acquire their marijuana. Is
that what you want?

I have an idea, become better parents and teach the children that it
is not OK to smoke marijuana unless you are sick and in pain. It could
be worse, they could be alcoholics.

If you can't control your kids, then who can? I believe that if a
repeal is passed, there will be at least 30,000 people who live in the
state of Montana, that will probably not vote in state elections.

What's the point, in voting, if we allow a handful of uppity up's in
Helena, to repeal what we vote on? Egypt in Montana? I hope not.
