MEDICAL MARIJUANA

Drug abuse in communities is based on price, perception of risk,
public attitude and availability. Marijuana is the number one drug
for which kids are in treatment. States that have fallen for the
"medical" marijuana initiatives are among the highest levels of drug
addiction and abuse. The 2009 National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration showed that more people are driving weekend nights
under the influence of marijuana than alcohol. Montana Highway Patrol
reported 39 marijuana traffic fatalities last year in Montana.
Montana is already having reports of marijuana related robberies,
beatings and a homicide. Large amounts of money and drugs invite
crime. HB68 will double the amount of Marijuana currently allowed.
The law makes it illegal for cities to ban marijuana dispensaries.
