LEGALIZATION WILL ALLEVIATE ISSUE

The whole use of Proposition 215 to allow citizens to use the
relatively safe, God-given plant cannabis
(marijuana) for medical reasons ("Ed Linderman Sees Both Sides Of
Medical Marijuana," Siskiyou Daily News, Nov. 16, 2010) exists only
because the plant is prohibited. Hopefully, when cannabis is finally
legalized (and it will be legalized) the problems associated with
Proposition 215 will be alleviated. Legalizing cannabis will likely
mean citizens who wish to use the superplant for medical purposes will
not need to pay extortion money to government for protection from
police. Legalization also will likely eliminate black market prices
and other dubious implications.
