HARM REDUCTION WORKS FOR ALL
Const. John Craig of the Victoria Police Department focused
enforcement team is concerned about distribution of harm reduction
supplies in the Pandora Street "no-go zone" (Nov. 10).
Harm Reduction Victoria states that at a public meeting at City Hall
on May 20, medical health officer Dr. Murray Fyfe denied the zone exists.
Harm reduction practices reduce harm to drug users and to the
community at large.
Harm reduction and safe consumption services should be provided where
they are needed. Any related problems should be dealt with directly
rather than by withdrawing or relocating the services.
