PUSH BACK AGAINST POT

Shanoff maintains that all prohibition has managed to do is push up
the price of pot. So I presume in his mind we should legalize it to
make it more affordable, thus increasing its use and its accompanying
mental and respiratory disorders. (That it's a carcinogenic,
stupifying drug is beyond debate.) He argues pot is less harmful than
alcohol because the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs in
England says so. And so, too, the IPCC warned we were doomed to
climatic meltdown. Does Shanoff believe everything he reads?
