EVERYONE PROFITS FROM GROW-OPS
Editor:
Every time I read these stories of the war on grow-ops, I have to have
a good chuckle to myself.
The powers that be constantly point the finger at gangsters being the
only ones to profit from the lucrative marijuana growing industry. I
see the city of Chilliwack profited well the last few years. The RCMP
recieved more money federally for extra enforcement. The country of
Canada had more American dollars off the books circulating around, and
the private business sector benefitting in two big ways that
immediately come to mind: the first being large cash purchases of
merchandise, and the second, the growing number of unmovitated
populace (caused by drug use) to fill the ever growing minimum wage
job market.
So logic would tell me that this war on the marijuana grow industry is
really just for show, and the surface of it will always just be
scratched and go no further.
Anyone who knows anything about simple horticulture would know that
the introduction of cannabis male spores into our community would
render all marijuana growing here worthless, but it's too big a
business from local to federal levels.
Just wait until California legalizes and see how fast the government
moves to make up the lost revenue .
