ANOTHER METH LAB DISCOVERED

Remnants of yet another meth lab were discovered in Langley on
Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to a secluded area in the area of 212 Street
and 12 Avenue and discovered 30 pails of acetone and different
products that make the popular and dangerous drug crystal meth.

The fire department has a contract with a company that takes away the
toxic sludge. If the remnants of this meth lab are found to be on
private property, the owner will foot the bill for the clean-up, said
assistant fire chief Len Foss. The Township pays for the clean-up if
it's found on municipal land.

Finding the leftovers of a meth lab is common in Langley, said Foss.

Firefighters have cleaned up remnants in the 232 Street area, Fort
Langley, Otter and other areas.
