DON'T SPREAD MYTHS ABOUT CANNABIS

Regarding the comment, "Marijuana has lasting effects." This is just
one more example of unfounded hysteria surrounding cannabis use.
Contrary to the writer's claim that smoking the herb turns people into
dummies, I've noticed that the most of the patients who come into my
dispensary are of above-average intelligence. Many of them seem to be
walking encyclopedias, always kind and willing to share their
expertise and knowledge of all things cannabis. I believe this writer
must be a little confused himself and is actually referring to certain
studies that indicate cannabis use may induce short-term memory loss
(i.e., where did I put my keys?). This is a very small price to pay
for the many wonderful therapeutic benefits of this medicine.

While it isn't difficult at all to understand the greedy motives
behind law enforcement's campaign to vilify cannabis users, I cannot
for the life of me ever understand how anyone would purposely want to
deny patients with serious need access to this medicine. Please get
educated and stop the spread of the "cannabis is evil" myth.
