RAINEY DID MUCH GOOD
Re: 'One of the greatest activists' for medical pot, Oct. 22
Thanks to Ian Mulgrew and The Vancouver Sun for alerting the world to
the sudden passing of a most remarkable woman. Confronting serious
ailments and, at times, a malevolent criminal justice system that
cares more about symbolism than promoting sensible public health
policies regarding cannabis, Michelle Rainey faced it all with an
infectious sense of hope, laughter, keen intelligence and love.
Canada has lost a great and caring human being; her loss is already
being felt well beyond the nation's borders.
