Re: FDA puts politics before science, editorial.

Follow the money. Who stands to lose the most if marijuana is legalized
in any way, limited or otherwise? Answer: the pharmaceutical companies,
Merck, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, etc. Besides the hundreds of millions of
dollars they spend annually advertising to convince you that you need
their chemicals, they also spend millions of dollars each year lining
the pockets of your members of Congress to ensure that marijuana never
cuts into the profits they make from the chemicals only they can produce.

After all, anyone with a little dirt and water can grow
marijuana.
