BAN WILL DRIVE NEW DEMAND
Re: "Council passes K2 ban -- City joins several others in the area to
outlaw products meant to mimic marijuana," Thursday news story.
Banning "fake weed" will just drive the users back to real weed. These
fools want to ban everything but alcohol, which is a much bigger public
safety and health issue.
Americans push drugs for every little pain, every obscure disease. TV is
full of drug and beer commercials. But the message is: Do not use a drug
that makes you feel good. It's more of the old WASP view that pleasure is
bad, and piety is good.
