Re "Pot bad for brain, lungs, experts say" (Aug. 4): I take exception
to this article, specifically "heavy pot smokers less likely to
succeed academically and professionally." I am a licenced medical
marijuana user and have been smoking pot heavily for over 35 years. I
attended college for four years, smoked pot everyday, and graduated at
the top of my class (in law enforcement studies). After leaving
college, I got a good job. The top three employees of this company
were all professionals and pot smokers as well. I also had my lungs
tested twice and was told there is not one indication on my lungs that
I smoke.
