MANIPULATED STATISTICS
Larry Stelma, Byron Konschuh and Bill Schuette seem to think that
marijuana should remain illegal because alcohol causes widespread
societal problems ("Legalizing marijuana remains a bad idea," July
16). Alcohol abuse is the primary culprit behind the domestic
violence problems they vaguely attribute to "substance abuse." Not
all drugs are created equal. Marijuana is by far the safest
recreational drug, legal or otherwise.
