I just read a letter about the Proposed Marijuana Facility in our
neighborhood at Torquay Avenue in Royal Oak.

Please, please help us spare our neighborhood and the rest of Royal
Oak from possible crimes that will come with this facility. I moved to
this city four years ago and fell in love with it. The people are very
nice, the neighborhood is so peaceful that anyone can walk even in the
wee hours. We even sleep in summers with windows open, our kids
walking in the streets. The people here are confident that they are
safe in the night. Please help us spread out that we, the people of
Royal Oak, do not want this facility in our own back yard.

Our city has suffered from economic recession and has since reduced
police staffing but if we have this in our own back yard, there is no
way the people can feel safe anymore. Please help us get the message
to the people out there, especially the Royal Oak City Commission that
this is not acceptable.
