IGNORANT

I have to say Leonard Pitts is an ignorant man on this subject and
through his forum, he will do great damage.

Does he have kids? Have any of them used drugs? I do and they have.
Drugs ruin kids. It causes rebellion, saps initiative and steals
ambition. It offers an alternative reality that is not reality and
does tremendous harm. Pitts is completely clueless on this and because
he is black and insists on seeing this as a race issue, he is blind to
the real effects.

He also offers up a false argument about incarceration. Law
enforcement is not after the casual drug user, per se. They are after
the producers and dealers. You know, the ones who murder people.

Last, how does he come to the conclusion the "we" ruined lives. "We"
didn't do a darn thing. Drug sellers and drug users of their own free
will decided to become criminals and commit criminal acts. They ruined
themselves.

Of course, since Pitts lives life as a victim, he sees the government
and European Americans in general as the cause of his problems. Grow
up ... please.
