MEDICAL MARIJUANA USER WAS OUT OF LINE OUTSIDE THE CAPITOL
I was shocked and appalled when I saw the photo and read the article
on the front page of Tuesday's Montana Standard. What the heck is
going on here, a pothead can brag before the state Legislature that he
is going to go outside and "smoke a bowl" and then do just that and be
photographed in front of the state Capitol building legally getting
high?
What kind of message does this send to our youth as we preach to them
daily about the dangers of drug use and abuse? And about his claim
that he needs pot because of his intestinal disorders - baloney! There
are plenty of legal prescription drugs that would solve the problem
for him. Let's face it, the guy is a pothead and just wants to get
high, as is the case with most of the other potheads that legally
"smoke bowls" for medical reasons. What a joke! May as well legalize
meth, too; it makes people feel better also, right?
