LEGALIZATION IS THE ANSWER

To the Editor:

The letter from Ron Orenstein ("Legalization is not the asnwer") is
absolute proof that marijuana can cause irrational thinking in those
that are opposed to it. Who knows what motivation lies behind
Orenstein's distorted world view, but when cannabis is re-legalized
people will not be getting rich off of growing it.

The main message kids will get is that pot is some boring thing that
old people do. Currently in the Nederlands where it can be legally
purchased use rates in teenagers is much lower than it is in the US.
Once it is legal in California the other 49 states will have no choice
but to join in the party. I can't wait to see it happen and to watch
people like Ron Orenstein eat their words or deny they ever said them.
