POT TAX WOULD HELP THE STATE
Re "Iowa group's ad campaign slams Campbell on tax hikes" (The Buzz,
April 20): It would seem that Tom Campbell is one of the few
Republicans who is in a position to support a budget-saving tax on
marijuana when it is legalized.
Certainly those who have signed binding, unlimited, "no new tax"
pledges will be obligated morally to vote against any proposed new
marijuana tax.
