DO YOU SUPPORT THE TROOPS?

Re: Harper's Marijuana Action Plan

Imagine what kind of mindset you must have - as a citizen,
politician, or cop - to be able to keep people from their medicine
based on superstitions, scientific untruths and archaic "beliefs."

Many of our troops are coming home with post traumatic stress
disorder. Medical marijuana has been positively indicated, and much
science shows it's efficacy and safety in the treatment of PTSD.

Canadians can get medical marijuana through a licensing program at
Health Canada, and veterans can even have their pot paid for by
Veteran's Affairs.

But if Stephen Harper gets a majority (something that now seems
inevitable with the left vote split five ways), he will shut down the
medical marijuana licence program, and impose mandatory minimum jail
sentences onto anyone who grows even one marijuana plant.

This policy will leave our soldiers to choose between the toxic,
addictive, often suicide inducing pharmaceuticals usually prescribed
for that condition, or jail.

Bottom line: Harper wants our troops to suffer, and kill themselves,
rather than let them use pot. Think I am kidding? Ask him.

Do you support the troops? I do, and to show it, I am lobbying the
public, the media, and the government to end this immoral and wildly
counterproductive prohibition on marijuana.
