MEDIA CAST BAD LIGHT ON MARIJUANA
It seems like everyone has so many negative things to say when it
comes to medical marijuana. If people took the time to really
understand the beneficial use of cannabis they won't be so quick to
judge.
Nobody wants to believe there is one medication that can help treat
and alleviate a wide variety of ailments and symptoms. I don't know
why. Maybe it is all the propaganda that spreads through the media,
how cannabis is portrayed as just a high. So many people believe the
lies the media tell and the main reason is because so many people are
uneducated when it comes to this topic.
As a cannabis patient myself, I can say there are different
alternatives to cannabis use that can help a great deal. Patients know
the benefits of cannabis and now it's time for the community to know
as well. As we advance in modern medicine, our acceptance for cannabis
as a medication should as well. People need to put prohibition aside
and take into account the 14 states that currently legalize medical
marijuana.
