LEADERSHIP IN THE COMMUNITY

Linn County citizens have a great opportunity to retain a sheriff who
has the pulse of the county's needs on his radar screen and in his
heart. Tim Mueller is a local resident who grew up here and returned
after a military stint to hold every rank in the sheriff's office.
Under his watchful eye and collaborative leadership, he continues to
fight drug trafficking through the quality work of the Linn Drug Task
Force. He has been addressing the meth epidemic in our community
since 1984 and has the historic perspective that is needed to know
what efforts and activities will have a positive impact on
diminishing this plague.

Mueller's leadership also provides a safer future for all of our
children through his commitment to inform and train community,
parents, and youth about the risks of crimes against children. Tim
Mueller's leadership is the best gift we as citizens could give our
communities.
