PROTECT YOUTHS FROM SCOURGE OF DRUGS

Once again the human experiment appears to be failing. Our governments
are gridlocked, our economy is faltering, our education system is in
turmoil, our religious institutions have not fulfilled their promises,
our multicultural population is destroying our national unity, and our
youth are lacking proper direction for living an inspired, productive
life. We have become materialistically oriented and have lost our
focus on the reason for our existence.

The latest disclosure is that hundreds of thousands of acres of
marijuana plants are hidden in our national parks and other public
lands being harvested by Mexican drug cartels who guard their gardens
armed with AK-47s and surrounded with trip-wire explosives. Obviously
there is a huge demand for the product most likely by the generation
that will constitute the future of our country. Other narcotics even
more harmful, such as methamphetamine, are rampant among our youths.

We are at war with a force that may be far more destructive than
Islamic terrorists and since the authorities are unable to destroy the
supply, we must find ways to eliminate the demand. All concerned
citizens must become involved. Most teenagers are absolutely
physically unable to discern the consequences of their acts, since the
part of the brain that handles that function does not fully develop
until the early 20s. It is paramount for adults to take action. We
need to unify to find a solution.
