THEY'VE GIVEN UP ON BROWNSVILLE

Growing up I always wondered how drug dealers could stand on corners
and not get caught. But, I figured this was just stuff that happened
in New York or L.A. Then I moved to Brownsville.

Every single day, even Christmas Eve, the same group of guys stand at
the corner of America Avenue and Luke Drive and signal every car that
drives by. This happens right in front of a church and a block away
from two different schools. I'm just curious, how hard can it be to
bust people who stand in the middle of the road and yell at passing
cars?

It seems quite clear to me the Escambia County Sheriff's Office has
given up on Brownsville.
