COUNCIL WASTING TIME

Editor, The Gazette,

I find it reprehensible that our mayor and city councilors are wasting
their and our time and money debating issues that have nothing to do
with running the business of the city. No matter how the council
decides on the issue, it would make no difference if marijuana,
medical or otherwise, is illegal provincially or federally. If they
are discussing anything about marijuana, it should be about how to get
rid of any and all illegal grow operations in our area. If these
types of subjects continue to take up our council's time, we should be
looking for a new council as soon as possible. We should have a
council that will spend its valuable time discussing the important
issues of the City of Grand Forks.
