The Portland Hotel society's safe injection site has reportedly 7,278
registered users. That is 7,278 people possessing and using illegal
substances in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Drug users don't need
assistance with this. If we want to address this problem our tax
money should be spent on recovery and life skills, not for drug
assistance. Drug producers and dealers should also be targeted.

I understand the need for health precautions and disease control but
injection was never meant to be safe. If someone doesn't want help
getting rid of a problem that is their choice. Close Insite down.
