NEW POT DISPENSARY RULES CONSIDERED IN BOULDER
BOULDER - Boulder officials are voting on new rules to govern medical
marijuana dispensaries.
The Boulder City Council will take a vote on new licensing
requirements for the dispensaries and whether to set hours of
operation. The new rules would also limit how many dispensaries can
operate in certain areas.
A full debate on the proposals would happen later this
month.
Dispensaries and grow operations in Boulder generated nearly $74,000
in sales-tax revenue for the city last year, even though most of the
estimated 105 businesses didn't open until September or later.
