MISSING THE THOUGHTS OF JERRY PARADIS
Dear Editor:
I read with sadness the passing of Jerry Paradis.
While I can't claim to have met him, nor had much to do with his long
role as a provincial court judge, I came to know his views as
expressed in his North Shore News columns.
In particular, his columns pertaining to drug policy were filled with
pragmatic, honest, realistic evaluations that few people articulate
with equivalent impact. I so much appreciated his views, and wholly
wish that actual government policy was modelled with the erudition and
experience that suffused his writings.
I certainly will miss the thoughts of Jerry Paradis.
