PROFIT FROM POT
Is it so impossible for someone to see that money can be made by
raising marijuana plants legally here in Hawaii? If there truly is a
need medically and if there are other products that can be made from
it like hemp, then why are we not growing it here? If it was legal,
wouldn't there be a lot of revenue from taxes for this state? Also,
wouldn't there then be some controls by the government?
I don't know much about the subject, that's for sure, but it seems to
me we are missing the boat. With the climate the way it is here with
all the rain, marijuana grows, I believe, vigorously. Well? Why don't
we grow it here? Then perhaps there wouldn't be so many illegal
activities and crimes attached to its growing, like there is now
(March 19, Tribune-Herald, "Criminals see green").
