HOME POSTED UNDER DRUG BYLAW
A Spallumcheen home has been posted under the township's controlled
substances property remediation bylaw following the discovery of a
marijuana grow operation at the home.
The residence, in the 300 block of Stepping Stones Road, was posted
Jan. 5 after RCMP became aware of the grow-op.
Since the home has been posted, and the property owner notified, it
means nobody is allowed to live in the home until cleaning and
remediation of the dwelling have been completed, certified by a
professional and passed an inspection from the township's building inspector.
This is the fifth township home to be posted under the bylaw.
The last one was in March 2009.
