RCMP SHOULD BE DISBANDED FOR GOOD

Re: '2010 will be tough for cops' (Daily News, Dec. 29)

To my mind, the more trouble the RCMP have suppressing our civil
rights and liberties -- or "doing their job" -- the better.

I simply do not recognize the authority of the RCMP.

I consider them a government-sponsored gang.

They are incorrigibly corrupt and answer to no one but
themselves.

Their continued lobbying of the media, the public, and the government
for more and more drug prohibitions, ever-increasing powers of
intrusion and coercion, and their ongoing "growopaganda" that they
keep spouting, is enough justification to completely disband them.

But, then one would have to ignore all the other scandals, killings,
and screw ups of the past 100 years.

They should have been disbanded decades ago.
