AYERS WORKED IN THE TRENCHES
I would ask you to print this letter as it is a letter to the Ayers
family, Jonathan's mother, his grandmother, his friends and his flock.
I want them to know there is one Stephens County resident who has
lamented for them and for Jonathan for several months now.
I have even found myself sobbing and weeping for them and him. I want
them to know from the depths of heart how sorry I am for what Stephens
County has done to their beloved Jonathan.
I want them to know I have a tremendous respect and love for their
Jonahtan, a man I never met. I love him because he was called
according to and was doing according to His purpose.
I respect and honor Jonathan because he was in the trenches, as he was
supposed to be. He was down in the dirt with the sinners as Jesus would be.
Not in the lofty perch of the pulpit, not clamoring in the streets
with banners and things.
He was in the dirt just like Jesus would be. Even giving them money to
help pay their rent.
So God bless you Jonathan Ayers, thank you for your help and service
while you were allowed to be with us.
And God bless your family and friends and grant them peace and have
mercy on us all.
