BAN ON CANNABIS ISN'T THE RIGHT WAY TO GO FOR ALL

Re: "Enlightenment needed for the marijuana laws here," (Alberni
Valley Times, Dec. 17)

Ian Poole, hit the bull's-eye in his letter, cannabis (marijuana)
prohibition is a wicked law created by wicked people from the beginning.

We wouldn't let those kind of people influence which kind of music we
listen to, yet they have legally influenced laws pertaining to a
beneficial God-given plant. Cannabis should be re-legalized
immediately and every rational North American study supports it.
Cannabis prohibitionists are not clear thinkers and should be hauled
off their platforms and replaced by intelligent citizens so North
America can move forward. Voters need to stop being complacent about
getting rid of the bad people.

Another reason to stop caging humans for using the relatively safe,
God-given plant cannabis that doesn't get mentioned is because it is
Biblically correct since Christ God Our Father, The Ecologician,
indicates He created all the seed-bearing plants, saying they are all
good, on literally the very first page (Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30).
The only Biblical restriction placed on cannabis is that it is to be
accepted with thankfulness (see 1 Timothy 4:1-5).
