MORE GROW-OP PROOF NEEDED

Re: Firefighters raise legal grow-op concerns, Dec. 8.

Bob Simpson is making some very bold statements, but offers no actual proof.

Maligning licensed medical marijuana producers in such a way is absolutely
beneath contempt and could expose him - and paper editors and publishers -
to lawsuits and wildly expensive human rights complaints.

Unless he has some solid proof as to the supposed 'dangers' posed by legal
medical grows, he should keep his mouth shut.

It is bad enough that we have to carry special papers around with us
everywhere we go in order to keep us out of jail because we have medical
conditions (which is medical segregation), now we have to be subjected to
this outrageous public discrimination on the part of taxpayer-paid
officials.

If I had the financial wherewithal to do so, I would unleash a platoon of
the most rabid lawyers I could afford to drag him through numerous courts
for this lie-based fear-mongering and propaganda.

I strongly urge Simpson to discuss this matter with his legal advisors
before talking publicly this way again.
